In one of his teachings, Mark L. Prophet stated that selfishness is giving rise to cancerous cells in humans. Explains how cancer cells and selfishness stem from the same dark energy. In this time and age, when selfless giving has become a choice of the meek, the question remains: does this still hold truth? And is illness really a state of the mind?
Who is Mark L. Prophet?
For those not familiar with this renowned teacher, it is my honour and duty to give a short, succinct summary of this light force incarnated. Mark L. Prophet was born on a December 24, a Christ Child, a member of the Light Forces. He gave voice to many ascended masters including El Morya and brought mankind a better understanding of togetherness, the Christ spirit while also warning of the blasphemous ideas convoluted minds had allowed entry into this world.

I give voice to some of my own teachers, to the spirits that taught me to listen in order to understand, to channel the message intended for those fellow readers who connect like dots of lights throughout the world.
A cancerous problem
As almost every illness, cancer is the absolut absence of light in a cell.
But not only that, the abysmal darkness gives rise to cells that devour the strength and light of humans and animals alike. Many a human is wondering: is this suffering my own doing? And if so, what did I do wrong?
In some countries, it is likely a crime to say that a health issue can be cured by a shift in your state of mind, thought, energy or soul, and it seems rightly so; because we have all seen the results of the acts of the power hungry, those more concerned with their fame, being right and their acclaim of being God-like than providing the solid foundation curing any illness requires.
And we shall not forget that many people have become so weak in their minds, spirits, souls that the shift will of course set their soul free, alight, but may become a challenge the body cannot handle. More light requires a stronger vessel hence a weakened body may not be able to hold this new souls-strength. In essence, though, the change of mind, spirit, energy, and soul is of course required.
It is yet to be determined why some souls befriend the body they are residing in n such a manner that they can conquer an illness while others may not. Or is it?
Because many awakened souls do see a logic, a message beneath the illness.
Selflessness
Nowadays, selfless people of the past are turned into the evil master himself.
Their good deeds, their path of light walked with endless burdens and a willing humility is smudged with the words of and ideas of those weak souls who sold themselves to the very darkness they proclaim to fight or reveal.
Selfless acts are the true longing of the soul. In every child we see the seeds of this: they give without thought, they love without fear, they trust with all innocence. In giving they know they will receive – they know, trust God and the Higher Forces to be there and make any injustice right. And they await patiently for the just outcome, even if only achieved in the long run.
So selflessness is an act of the Divine. And as every human being shares the God Particle, carrying a shred of God Himself inside, it is only logical that the heart desires to act out of love, not out of expectations or the drive for possession and money. Those will always be a given, a result, if you work for God and inside of God’s laws, the universal laws as they were given to us.
Self-serving acts
It’s easy, or so some say, to be generous when you have everything. The truth is greed comes in many forms.
Oftentimes those who have the most feel they deserve more, ought to have more, are superior to others and hence give themselves free rein. They lack decency and henceforth use the gift of free will as a weapon, not a challenge.
Sometimes the true evil survives well and does lead a healthy, happy life. But their sins are not forgotten and their chances of redemption less than for those who suffer. Not because suffering is a prerogative to get back into the good graces. No, not at all. But because suffering can be an eye-opener, can help some in understanding the teachings, the changes necessary to reclaim the path of light, the path they themselves wanted to be on. Because the truest part of every soul wants one thing, and one thing only: for every decision, every choice to carry them upwards on the spiral that is life. Their life.
Cancer and cells
Cells are the universe in a nutshell. They hold everything. They are Life. The I Am Force inside of everyone.
On the other hand, cancer is nothing, it was thrown into existence without any chance to survive. I t can only be when others die. It is a vampire of sorts, a malign presence threatening the very existence of life itself. It is so self-serving that surviving cancer is possible – because only a living being can nourish the selfish cells.
When humans, as they often do, err from the path, they are given many a chance to make a change. Because, as the famous if notoriously verging on the darker side himself author of Faust said: even a man on the path of darkness is well aware of what is just.
And yes, that is so. Because we all know what is right and what is wrong. And for a long while, even when erring on the dark side, we are keenly aware of the path of light, the choice to make things right.
In this light, this scenario, cancer can be seen as a gift of God, a good deed, a chance of redemption so a soul can return to the path it intended to follow from the very beginning of this incarnation.
Not, of course, if the illness is a result of the constant onslaught of evil against humanity.
Light and dark
The two forces of the world. It is clear that for some the rule, the reign of Light holds no merit as their souls would not withstand such a bright time.
They would shatter, have to flee, finding solace only in the deepest depths of hell, where there is no mercy, just endless pain.
And the dark side of life, the dark side of magic, and the dark side of existence, have found many a way into our everyday lives. Such things as news reports of abuse, of all things bad and evil—they do not spread light or awareness mst of the time. Yes, they could point the light to awareness, but more often than not they are used to serve darkness, spreading a destructive energy that stirs weak souls into doing as the perpetrators. There is a fine line between raising awareness and spreading darkness.
Picture someone stressed, someone in the troughs of life, whose soul might have the smallest of a crack. When evil words, the reports of evil wrongdoings reach them, this crack may cause their soul to splinter, to digress, to fail.
Technologies given to humankind for the purpose to further development have been misused, used to gain entrance into the soul, to shatter what s holy, to enslave those naïve enough or shallow enough or unaware enough.
Innocent girls whose self-esteem is shattered by the so-called ‘social media’. Awareness of illnesses used to scare people enough to loose all light, all self-defense. And technology, emails, constant disruption adding to the daily burdens so one would simply be too tired to notice the danger slipping in.
Choice, karma, or evil at work
Cells will fight for their life, they won’t go down without a fight. But the soul needs to learn, too.
Some illnesses are, in fact, a part of life, a result of choices. They come as a warning, a way to redeem oneself and to correct the path one is walking on. Sometimes an illness has been a life choice made before incarnating. That is possible.
More and more often, illnesses are the result of evil machinations, of wrong choices when dealing with others, of the wrongful use of technology, knowledge, skills. We shall not be afraid of these things, of the new, but we should be mindful, wise, and not cause our own downfall.
Thus, illness becomes a double-edged sword: it carries a message for the recipient, but also for the disturbing forces. It is for them to correct their path, and for the brave soul to rise and shine. Because the innocent shall thrive.
Those who have fallen in shall not give in. Because even in harsh times, one can be victorious and grow. Grow in grace, in forgiveness, in willingness to fight, in being willing to be.
When caught unawares, when illness is neither a challenge chosen before incarnation nor a chance to redeem oneself, the soul is required to rise above all evil, even though it did not deserve the punishment. And that’s probably an unfair thing, but evil doesn’t adhere to the rules.
But it is possible. It is possible. It is possible. Because God, in His endless wisdom as well as the warriors, protectors, enhancers of Light, have packed the soul with enough strength to rise even above the brutal, pitiful vengeance the dark side’s malice needs to dole out.
Not alone, but assisted, guided by the Forces of Light. And therein lies the hope, the spring, the dawning of a new age.
